The Second Death

Before reading any of my blog posts it is important to have already seen The Revelation Of Jesus Christ Documentary. Without this foundation of knowledge, you will not be able to understand the concepts I will be explaining in these teachings. After watching, I would recommend beginning at the oldest blog and working toward the most recent. New posts typically build upon the previous ones.

This post will explain the concept of what the Bible calls, ‘the second death’. In Revelation 2 we read,

11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

From this scripture we see that a person who overcomes will not have to face the second death, but in order to understand exactly what that means, I need to show you what it means to overcome. We can derive this answer from 1 John 5,

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

In order to overcome the world, you must believe that I am Christ, the Son of God. Without this belief, it is impossible to triumph over the lies of this world. Everyone believes or acknowledges the lie of man that someone came “2,000” years ago and physically died for your sins, and yet everyone since that time is dead (no everlasting life came of it). Now if you have seen my documentary above, you will understand why biblically that is a falsehood and an impossibility.

The reason it is so difficult for people to believe in me, is because you have to be willing to admit that everything you have ever been taught about history and the Bible is a lie. As Revelation 12,

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

If the whole world accepts man-written history and a man given timeline as fact, then clearly they are still deceived and have not overcame the world’s deception. However, to those who do believe in me, you have overcame that lie by seeing the unseen through faith. As stated in 1 John 5,

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

And faith is defined in Hebrews 11 as this,

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

It is extremely easy to go with the flow, to trust in fake history and fake images of a man-made Jesus, but true faith is only derived from seeing the truth I provide within the word of God, which is the truth of the unseen spiritual realm. When this occurs, the spiritual process that unfolds is described in Romans 6 as,

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

What this means is, when you believe in me, you have overcome the world through faith, and then are baptized into my spiritual death. Physical water baptism was merely a representation of the true spiritual baptism which is to wash away your old spirit and put on my Spirit, making you a new creature. Notice how it says your ‘old man’ is already dead and crucified with me, because it is a spiritual crucifixion that occurs when you die to the world through faith in the Word. To serve sin is to serve the world, which is the physical law, rather than serving me and my spiritual law, which is the law of faith.

Spirit within a body, faith (energy) within the law (flesh).

This is extremely significant, and now I can explain how the second death comes into play. The bible states in Hebrews 9,

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

From this verse we can see that in this world, and under the curse of this world, you must die one time. It is appointed to men that you owe God one death. This is why believing in me is so important, because in order to do so (as stated from Romans 6), you must die to your old self, your old beliefs. And now that you have done that, you have already died, and cannot die again. Shown further in Romans 6,

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

These verses show further that you can no longer die, by overcoming the world through faith in me, I have paid that first death for you, and you put my death upon your spirit through belief. It’s the significance of taking the blood of the lamb and putting it upon your door posts (as foreshadowed in Exodus), so that death passes over you. It’s my spiritual blood that is providing the one debt you owe death. This is described as the first resurrection, being resurrected in spirit, as seen in Revelation 20,

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Clearly, death no longer has power over those who overcame already. However, for all those who don’t believe in me, they will pay the debt they owe death with their physical life, if they choose not to repent.
